What A Great Fishing Summer

This has been one of the coolest summers that I can remember. And the fishing has held up very well. Rocky Ford is fishing extremely well. This is the best time of the year to get them up on top.  Grimes has been off the charts at times and we have had some great fishing. It is open untill the end of the month. The fishing in the Basin is going to get better and better as the water cools down. The Carp fishing is starting to wind down in some places but doing well in others. It has been a good season but a little on the short side with the cool water temps. We will start fishing Back To The Wall (Isaaks) Sept. 11 and it is expected to be very good. I still have some openings but call soon if you want to get in this fall. Biggest rainbow this spring was 31 1/2 inches with several in the 28 to 30 inch range. Fall is the best time for Browns and Tigers to show up
in any of the lakes that have them including BTTW. We should see some great fish. If you havn't heard the steelhead counts coming up the Columbia are better than last year, thats right BETTER than last year.
